How Yoga Changed My Life

I am first and foremost a student, of yoga, and of life. And I am wildly passionate about educating to empower. Understanding the combination of yoga philosophy and modern science has given me a unique understanding to navigate the challenges of life with grace and ease.

In my teachings, I bridge a deep understanding of body mechanics with yoga philosophy and breathwork to help students access a state of calm and balance. My teachings are playful, therapeutic, and grounding. I teach from my heart to guide students towards more space in the body, deeper connections, greater self-awareness, empowerment, health, and well-being. I have been teaching for over 15 years, and what I share comes from a variety of trainings:

  • BSc in Kinesiology from McMaster University
  • Yoga Alliance E-RYT 500
  • Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider
  • 160+ hours of Training in Yin Yoga & Restorative Yoga

If you complete and submit the course requirements, you are eligible for 20 hours of continuing education credits with the Yoga Alliance. If you have already completed 200 hours (or more) of Yoga teacher training, you can share this knowledge as a Restorative Yoga class. If you have not completed an additional 200 hours of yoga teacher training, you can share the information at your discretion; however, this 20 hours is by no means a complete yoga teacher training!
